On most SEATs it's under the boot floor, by the spare wheel. Check the places in the order shown — it varies a little by model and age.

A four-character code, usually starting with L.
Don't mistake the VIN (17 characters) or the trim code for it: the paint code is the short one.

What does a SEAT paint code look like?
A four-character code, usually starting with L.
Is the SEAT paint code on the V5C?
No — the logbook only gives a colour family such as “grey”. The factory code is on the label on the car, or you can look it up from the registration.
